Can I try the plugin before I buy it?
Yes—you can hear the real plugin in action before you buy. Use the Before & After player on this page to switch between the same vocal with the plugin turned off and on. The After version was processed by the actual plugin, not a recreated effect, so you can hear exactly what it changes before you decide.
What does RysUpSweep do?
It is a one-knob riser for build-ups. Intensity sweeps a track from untouched at 0 to paper-thin at 100: a low cut rises with the knob while a hall reverb and stereo early reflections build behind it. The space is shaped by the same sweep, so deep cuts go truly silent.
What are the seven modes?
Airy, Lift, Build, Surge, Rage, Fury and Overkill sit on a notched meter under the knob. Each mode is hotter than the last, from a gentle lift in Airy to the most extreme build in Overkill. Seven factory presets, one for each mode, get you started.
Can I move the knob fast?
Yes. RysUpSweep is click-free at any knob speed, so you can ride it by hand, draw automation, or snap it straight back to zero for the drop.
Does it sync to my tempo?
Turn on Sync and the slow movement of the space locks to 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars at your host tempo. The Intensity knob stays wherever you set or automate it.
Will it wreck my levels or my low end?
Level Match holds the perceived loudness steady as the riser builds, Output trims the result by up to 12 dB either way, and Mix blends the effect against the dry track. Club Safe keeps the bass below 150 Hz in mono for club systems.
Can I ride it from a hardware knob?
Yes. Intensity is a normal plugin parameter, so you can map it to any controller with your DAW's own MIDI learn or record it as automation, then ride the build by hand.
Which formats and systems does it run on?
AU, VST3 and AAX on macOS, plus VST3 and AAX on Windows 64 bit. Install, activate and update it through the free RysUpHub app. No iLok or USB dongle is required.
