What does RysUpStutter do?
RysUpStutter captures a slice of the incoming audio and repeats it at a musical division. Stutter controls the repeated slice length, Refresh controls when a new slice is grabbed, and both can follow your DAW tempo or run in milliseconds. Freeze holds the current slice when you want the pattern to stay locked.
What effects are built into the plugin?
The rack contains 24 real effects organized into 14 compact families: filtering, drive, crush and lo-fi, dynamics, modulation, wobble, gating, phone tone, de-essing, excitation, tape, stereo spread, delay, and reverb. Each module has its own Mix control, so unused effects stay out of the signal path.
How does per-slice Range motion work?
Every effect value has an optional Range. Leave Range at zero for a static setting, or raise it and set Follow to Stutter so that value is re-rolled inside the chosen range when the next repeated slice begins. It creates evolving patterns without drawing automation lanes by hand.
How many presets are included?
RysUpStutter includes 250 factory presets organized into 10 categories, from clean rhythmic repeats and vocal chops to motion, space, lo-fi, transitions, and experimental patterns. Every preset stores the full plugin state so it loads consistently.
Does RysUpStutter add latency?
No. The stutter engine and the included effect rack are designed as a zero-latency signal path, so the plugin reports zero added latency to the DAW.
Will RysUpStutter work in my DAW?
Yes. RysUpStutter ships as AU, VST3, and AAX for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), plus VST3 and AAX for Windows 64-bit. It installs and updates through the free RysUpHub app.
What's the difference between the Suite subscription and buying outright?
