Is RysUpRack really free?
Yes. RysUpRack is free like RysUpAir. It does not require a paid license token. Install it through RysUpHub and use it to build racks, host VST3 plugins, map macros, and load .rysrack presets.
Does RysUpRack include the paid plugins?
No. RysUpRack is the host. Paid Rys Up plugins still need their own licenses or the Rys Up Suite subscription. The rack itself is free so anyone can load presets, organize chains, and run the workflow.
What formats does RysUpRack support?
RysUpRack runs today as AU and VST3 for macOS (Universal — Intel + Apple Silicon) and VST3 for Windows 64-bit. Inside the rack it hosts VST3 plugins. AAX is pending PACE signing.
Can I save my own racks?
Yes. RysUpRack saves and loads proprietary .rysrack presets so full chains, hosted plugin state, macro mappings, bus labels, and sends can be recalled later.
Why use RysUpRack instead of DAW inserts?
It keeps a vocal chain portable. Instead of rebuilding insert order, macros, and send-style effects in every DAW session, you save the rack once and recall the chain as a single plugin.
