Can I try the plugin before I buy it?
Yes—you can hear the real plugin in action before you buy. Use the Before & After player on this page to switch between the same vocal with the plugin turned off and on. The After version was processed by the actual plugin, not a recreated effect, so you can hear exactly what it changes before you decide.
What does Gulp do?
Gulp is a rhythmic filter effect. It moves a resonant filter in a repeating pattern and lets you add grit, turning sustained sounds and loops into pulsing, animated textures.
Why does Gulp move while the knobs stay still?
The knobs set the amount of sweep and grit. An internal repeating pattern moves the filter in time with the tempo, and the character follows that movement.
How does Gulp compare with larger filter tools?
Gulp focuses on two sound controls and four ready-to-use rhythmic patterns. Tools with editable LFOs, multiple filters, or larger modulation systems offer more detailed sound design. Choose Gulp when you want to reach a rhythmic effect quickly.
Can I set the tempo myself?
Yes. Turn Sync off and enter a BPM. With Sync on, Gulp follows the tempo supplied by your host.
Can I reduce the animation?
Gulp respects your system reduced-motion preference. The filter keeps processing while the character stays still.
