Can I try the plugin before I buy it?
Yes—you can hear the real plugin in action before you buy. Use the Before & After player on this page to switch between the same audio with the plugin turned off and on. The After version was processed by the actual plugin, not a recreated effect, so you can hear exactly what it changes before you decide.
Do I need to capture a slice first?
No. Roll continuously listens to incoming audio. Turning up the knob automatically grabs the audio for the repeat; returning to zero releases it.
What does Ride do?
Ride automatically builds the Roll amount over 1, 2, 4, or 8 bars, then releases. The ∞ setting repeats four-bar builds with the captured audio until you switch Ride off. Click a duration again to restart.
What is the difference between Sync and Free?
Sync aligns capture to the beat and starts automatic Ride on the next bar. Free starts immediately. Play your DAW track so Roll has audio to work with.
What do Key and Blend control?
Key can tune the fastest repeats to a musical note. Blend balances processed and original audio; leave Key off for the untuned roll.
Is Roll included in RysUpSuite?
Yes. An active RysUpSuite subscription includes the current paid lineup and future paid releases while your subscription is active. You can also buy Roll on its own.
