Can RysUpTune do live pitch correction with low latency?
Yes. RysUpTune runs real-time with sub-10 ms latency on modern buffer sizes, so you can sing through it live on stage or while tracking. Retune Speed, Humanize, and Flex Tune controls let you dial in everything from natural transparent correction to the hard Auto-Tune effect.
How is RysUpTune different from Melodyne?
Melodyne is offline pitch editing — you freeze a clip, drag notes, and bounce. RysUpTune is a real-time pitch corrector you put on the vocal track. Use Melodyne for surgical note-by-note editing; use RysUpTune for live performance, tracking, and fast vocal tuning on the mix.
Does RysUpTune support MIDI note-in for pitch reference?
Yes. Route a MIDI track to the sidechain and RysUpTune will follow your written melody instead of snapping to the nearest scale note. Perfect for harmonies, chromatic vocal runs, and ad-libs that fall outside the key.
What scale and key settings does RysUpTune support?
Every Western scale (major, minor, chromatic, harmonic minor, melodic minor, plus custom user scales). Set the key manually or let Auto-Key detect it from the audio. You can also bypass individual notes to prevent the tuner from chasing passing tones.
Will RysUpTune work in my DAW?
Yes. RysUpTune ships as AU, VST3, and AAX for macOS (Universal — Intel + Apple Silicon) and Windows 64-bit. That covers Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper, GarageBand, Bitwig Studio, and every other major DAW.

Do I need an iLok or dongle?
No. We use a simple license key system. Install once per machine, activate with your email and key, and you're done. No iLok account, no USB dongle, no annual license-manager fees.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — and we back it with our 30-day fix-it guarantee. Hit a bug? Want a feature added? Email support and we get on it. If we don't ship the fix or feature within 30 days, you're entitled to a full refund, no questions asked. In practice we usually ship within the week — but the guarantee is yours either way.
