The pitch tracker uses a YIN-style autocorrelation algorithm running at 44.1 kHz with a ~10 ms refresh — accurate to within a few cents on a clean monophonic vocal. For polyphonic material or noisy mics, accuracy degrades as expected.

How do I get a hard, robotic tuned vocal sound?
Set Strength to 100 percent and pull Transition down to the lowest setting so every note snaps instantly. Choose a tight scale, usually the minor or major key of the beat, so the vocal has fewer notes to land on. For a natural sound instead, keep Strength around 60 to 80 percent and raise Transition.
Does the vocal tuner work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in iOS Safari and Android Chrome, including microphone recording once you allow browser permissions. Longer files process faster on desktop, but the full tune and export flow works on mobile.
