Track presets that fit the Steinberg workflow

Cubase has shipped with one of the best stock plugin catalogs in the DAW world for over a decade — Frequency EQ, Tube Compressor, RoomWorks, Magneto II, DeEsser, and the MixConsole EQ bands. Most Cubase engineers spend years learning how to layer these in a vocal chain. Our Cubase vocal presets do that for you.

Each preset ships as a Cubase track preset (.trackpreset). Open the track preset browser, pick a chain, and the full processing loads on your selected track: gate, EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, delay, and modulation. Right there in Cubase’s native workflow.

Built and validated with Cubase 15 stock effects. The same native .trackpreset files are included for Mac (Intel + Apple Silicon) and Windows.

Steinberg stock plugins only

Steinberg stock plugins only

Frequency EQ, Compressor, Tube Compressor, DeEsser, RoomWorks, PingPongDelay, Chorus, and Magneto II. No third-party downloads required. Just Cubase.

Built for current Cubase

Built for current Cubase

Every chain is generated from a load-safe Cubase 15 track-preset reference and validated before packaging. Because Steinberg’s included effects vary by edition and older version, Cubase 15 is our supported target.

The Vocal Vault

Steinberg’s stock arsenal, turned into plug-and-play chains.

Cubase has been the European producer’s weapon of choice since the 90s, and the stock plugins have quietly gotten better every year. Frequency EQ rivals most third-party EQs, and RoomWorks covers polished vocal spaces without another download. We’ve spent hours tuning chains to get the most out of what’s already in your copy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Cubase Pro for these vocal presets?
Cubase 15 is our validated target. Steinberg changes the included stock-effect set between Pro, Artist, and Elements, so check that your edition includes the effects listed in the preset before purchasing.
How do I install a Cubase track preset?
Copy the .trackpreset file into your Cubase user presets folder, or drag it directly onto a selected track in the Cubase arrangement. It immediately appears in the track preset browser.
Which Cubase versions are compatible?
Cubase 15 is the supported and validated target. The native files are delivered for Mac and Windows; older Cubase versions are not formally supported.
Do these work in Nuendo?
Nuendo shares Steinberg’s track-preset architecture, but these files are validated in Cubase 15 and Nuendo is not a formally tested target.
Will these work on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes. Cubase 15 and the Steinberg stock effects used by these presets run natively on Apple Silicon.
Can I edit the chain after loading it?
Yes — every insert is live and editable. Tweak EQ curves, compression ratios, reverb tails; save the modified chain as a new track preset for future use.
Do sends and buses load with the preset?
The Cubase version loads as one editable stock track chain. When the Logic source uses parallel aux effects, their audible delay, reverb, pitch, and modulation contributions are translated into the Cubase chain rather than creating project-level buses.
Are these royalty-free?
Completely. Commercial releases, sync, live performance, anything.
