FX Chains that feel native to PreSonus Studio One

Studio One has one of the most underrated stock plugin suites of any DAW — Pro EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Open AIR, Room Reverb, Channel Strip. Combined with Studio One’s drag-and-drop FX Chain format, you get a vocal workflow that’s as fast as anything in FL or Ableton.

Each of our Studio One vocal presets ships as a PreSonus .multipreset FX Chain. Drag the file from Finder onto your vocal track, and every effect — gate, EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, delay — loads with the exact tuning we built. No third-party plugins required.

Compatible with Studio One 4, 5, 6, and Studio One 7. Works on Mac (Intel + Apple Silicon) and Windows. Same chain in Studio One Artist, Professional, or Prime.

Plays nice with Scratch Pads

Plays nice with Scratch Pads

Studio One’s Scratch Pad and Arranger workflows don’t break our chains — the vocal stays consistent across comps, scratch sections, and final arrangements. Low-latency monitoring also works, so you can actually track through the chain without latency drift.

The Vocal Vault

PreSonus workflow meets platinum-tier chains.

Studio One engineers tend to be deeply invested in the PreSonus workflow — Event FX, Scratch Pads, Console view, the whole ecosystem. Our chains are built to fit that workflow instead of fighting it. FX Chain browser, drag-and-drop, tracks that stay clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Studio One Professional for these vocal presets?
No — our FX Chains work in Studio One Prime, Artist, and Professional. Every plugin in the chain ships with every edition.
How do I install a Studio One FX Chain?
Drag the .multipreset file from Finder or File Explorer onto your vocal track’s Effects bin. You can also save it to your FX Chains folder (in the Studio One data directory) for permanent access in the browser.
Which Studio One versions are compatible?
Studio One 4, 5, 6, and Studio One 7. Mac (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows. We don’t guarantee Studio One 3 compatibility.
Will these chains work on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes — Studio One 5.5+ runs natively on Apple Silicon and every PreSonus stock plugin we use runs native too. No Rosetta.
Can I save my modified version of the chain?
Yes — any tweak can be saved back to your FX Chains folder as a new .multipreset. Over time you’ll build a library of your own variations.
Do these interfere with Studio One’s low-latency monitoring?
No — every plugin in our chains is low-latency safe (no oversampling, no lookahead limiting on inserts). You can track through the chain without audible delay.
Can I use a chain as a track template?
Yes — save the chain to a Studio One track preset to instantly apply it to any new vocal track in any project.
Are these royalty-free?
Yes — use them on commercial releases, sync placements, live shows, anything.
