Do I need Adobe Creative Cloud for these presets?
You need Adobe Audition installed — which comes with any Creative Cloud plan that includes Audition. Our chains use only Adobe’s bundled processors, no third-party plugins.
How do I install an Audition effects rack preset?
Open the Effects Rack panel on your Multitrack or Waveform track, click the preset dropdown, and select Apply Preset. Point it at our .fxp or preset file.
Which Audition versions are compatible?
Adobe Audition 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and later CC releases. Mac (Intel + Apple Silicon) and Windows.
Can I use these for podcasts and voiceover, not just music?
Yes — we ship chains specifically for spoken-word applications. Noise reduction is dialed in, compression is tuned for speech dynamics, EQ adds intelligibility without coloration. Check the product page labels for music vs speech chains.
Do these chains work on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes — Audition 2022+ is native on Apple Silicon, and every stock processor we use runs native. No Rosetta.
Can I apply a chain to a pre-recorded file (Waveform view)?
Yes — apply the chain in the Effects Rack in Waveform view, then use Apply for destructive processing. Or use Multitrack view for non-destructive real-time processing.
Will these work for audiobook narration?
Yes — the spoken-word chains in this collection are tuned for ACX/audiobook requirements (RMS, peak, noise floor). Use our Audiobook chain as a starting point.
