Use a repeatable chain when your mix is ready to finish
Mastering presets are best used as restrained starting points after the mix is balanced. Compare the included chain on the full mix at matched loudness, then adjust EQ, compression, limiting, and stereo width for the genre and delivery format instead of chasing a louder preview.
Check the product page for the exact DAW or plugin format and required effects before checkout. For vocal-specific processing, use the vocal preset collections instead; a mastering chain is designed for the stereo mix and should not be substituted for a lead-vocal chain.
For the safest result, compare the preset at matched loudness, leave headroom for the final limiter, and export a short reference before committing to the full mix. A mastering preset can speed up repeatable decisions, but it cannot repair clipping, an overcompressed mix, or an unbalanced vocal arrangement upstream.
