What delay characters does RysUpDelay offer?
Four distinct flavors: Tape (saturated, wobbly, high-end rolloff), Digital (pristine, pitch-perfect repeats), Bucket Brigade (BBD-style lo-fi analog warmth), and Plate (ambient, diffused tails). Switch between them instantly — the same time/feedback settings translate across all four.
Can RysUpDelay sync to my DAW tempo?
Yes. Toggle tempo-sync on and choose from straight, dotted, or triplet subdivisions (1/4, 1/8, 1/8 dotted, 1/16, etc.). Or switch to free-run mode for millisecond-accurate tap delays. Ping-pong and stereo-offset modes give you instant spatial movement.
How do I get that Soundtoys EchoBoy tape sound?
Select Tape character, set feedback around 50–60%, and dial the saturation knob to taste. Turn on the wow/flutter for that organic tape wobble. RysUpDelay's Tape mode nails the same saturated, slightly-detuned tape echo vibe — for a fraction of the EchoBoy price.
Does RysUpDelay have a ducked delay mode?
Yes. Enable the internal ducker and the repeats pull down whenever the dry signal is present, then swell back up in the gaps. Perfect for vocal delays that don't clutter the phrase — repeats only fill the space between lines.
Will RysUpDelay work in my DAW?
Yes. RysUpDelay ships as AU, VST3, and AAX for macOS (Universal — Intel + Apple Silicon) and Windows 64-bit. That covers Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper, GarageBand, Bitwig Studio, and every other major DAW.

Do I need an iLok or dongle?
No. We use a simple license key system. Install once per machine, activate with your email and key, and you're done. No iLok account, no USB dongle, no annual license-manager fees.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — and we back it with our 30-day fix-it guarantee. Hit a bug? Want a feature added? Email support and we get on it. If we don't ship the fix or feature within 30 days, you're entitled to a full refund, no questions asked. In practice we usually ship within the week — but the guarantee is yours either way.
