Mixcraft by Acoustica gets underestimated like GarageBand does — it ships with a complete stock plugin suite, a loop library, and an FX group preset system that lets you save an entire insert chain as a reusable preset. Our Mixcraft vocal presets use that system natively.
Each preset loads a full chain — EQ, compression, reverb, delay — into Mixcraft’s effects rack in one click. You pick the chain from the FX group browser, drop it on your vocal track, and start recording.
Compatible with Mixcraft 8, 9, and Mixcraft Pro Studio 10. Works on Windows. Mixcraft is Windows-only, but our installers handle the user preset folder paths automatically.

Do I need third-party plugins for these Mixcraft vocal presets?
No — every chain uses Mixcraft’s bundled plugins (Studio Devil EQ, Acoustica Compressor, Acoustica Reverb, Voxengo modules). If Mixcraft is installed, the preset loads.
How do I install a Mixcraft FX group preset?
Copy the preset file into your Mixcraft user FX presets folder (usually Documents\Mixcraft [version]\FX Presets). It appears in the FX group browser immediately.
Which Mixcraft versions are compatible?
Mixcraft 8, Mixcraft 9, and Mixcraft Pro Studio 10. Windows only — Acoustica doesn’t ship Mixcraft for Mac.
Does this work on Mixcraft Home Studio editions?
Yes — Mixcraft Home Studio 8, 9, and 10 all include the stock plugins we use. Same chain loads.
Can I customize the chain after loading it?
Yes — every plugin in the FX group is editable. Open each plugin, tweak parameters, save your modified version as a new user preset.
Will this work with my USB mic / interface?
Yes — the preset lives on the track, not the interface. Any Windows-supported mic or interface works.
Can I apply the chain to existing recorded vocals?
Yes — drop the preset onto any audio track that already has a vocal recorded. The chain processes playback in real time, no re-recording needed.
