What Endless Smile does
Dada Life released Endless Smile as the partner to their Sausage Fattener. Their own pitch is short: it creates all the tension you need in your music, because it is not all about the drop, you need buildups too. The official interface is one big Intensity knob, a preset selector that steps from soft to hard settings, and a cartoon character who reacts as you turn it up.
The plugin is developed by Tailored Noise and sold through the Dada Life purchase page. Dada Life says it is used by Steve Angello, Zedd, Axwell, Hardwell, Diplo, Chris Lake, Above and Beyond and many other DJ producers.
The purchase page lists AudioUnits, VST 2 and VST 3 formats, Windows 7 or later, and Mac OS X 10.9 or later on Apple Silicon or Intel. The Tailored Noise downloads page lists the last update as version 1.3.0 on October 14, 2022.
The $29 question
On September 18, 2026 the official purchase page listed Endless Smile at $39 on its own, $59 bundled with Sausage Fattener, $59 bundled with the Secret Sauce bundle, and $89 for all three. Secret Sauce is a separate $39 bundle of three plugins that includes a riser effect called Eternal Return.
RysUpSweep is $9.99 to own. It is also included in RysUpSuite, $9.99 a month billed yearly, alongside every other current and future paid Rys Up plugin.
What you get in RysUpSweep
One knob that turns any track, bus or full mix into the build before the drop.
- One Intensity knob, 0 to 100. It takes a track from untouched to paper thin.
- A low cut that climbs with the knob while a hall reverb and stereo early reflections build in behind it. The same sweep shapes the reverb, so at full the cut bands go completely silent.
- 7 modes on a notched meter: Airy, Lift, Build, Surge, Rage, Fury and Overkill. Each one is more intense than the last, and the hardest ends near 14 kHz.
- Click free at any speed. The filters are fixed and only gains move, with 20 ms smoothing, so you can slam the knob back to zero on the downbeat.
- Level Match holds loudness as the build thins out, and Club Safe keeps bass below 150 Hz in mono.
- Tempo Sync for the reverb movement at 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars.
- Mix and Output trim. Automate Intensity, or map it to a controller with your DAW's own MIDI learn.
- Animated creature visualizer, light and dark themes and presets.
- Mac AU, VST3 and AAX, Windows VST3 and AAX. Installed through RysUpHub. No iLok.
You give up Dada Life's name on the box and their preset voicings. You keep the one knob workflow, gain Pro Tools support and loudness control, and you keep $29.01.

Build an 8 bar drop in RysUpSweep
A starting point for a classic build into a drop. Adjust by ear.
- Put RysUpSweep on the bus that carries the build section, or on the master if the whole track should lift.
- Pick a mode. Airy or Lift for a gentle pop or house lift, Surge or Rage for a festival build, Overkill when the last bar should be nothing but air.
- Turn on Tempo Sync and set the reverb movement to 8 bars so the space grows with the phrase.
- Switch on Level Match so the build keeps its weight as the low end leaves.
- Automate Intensity from 0 to 100 across the 8 bars, or map it to a controller with your DAW's own MIDI learn if you want to perform it.
- Drop the knob straight back to 0 on the downbeat. It is click free at any speed, so the drop lands clean.
- Leave Club Safe on for club tracks so the bass stays mono below 150 Hz while the top end opens up.
