What Supernova does
Nuro Audio sells Supernova as a reverb and delay suite. The feature page lists 62 algorithms, 28 reverbs and 34 delays, across three plugins: the combined Supernova plus separate reverb and delay versions.
The reverb side has a Depth control for placing a sound inside the space, reverb time from 0.2 seconds to more than 75 seconds, predelay synced to tempo or set in milliseconds, and Low and High Color controls. The delay side syncs to your session, a chosen BPM or a tap button, offers ping pong, and has low pass and high pass filters.
A routing matrix sends the delay into the reverb, the reverb into the delay, or runs both in parallel with a reverb to delay blend slider. Ducking pushes the wet signal away from the dry vocal, and a Ducking Shape control sets how snappy it reacts. Nuro lists 200 plus presets.
It runs as VST3, AU and AAX on Mac and Windows, sells as a lifetime license rather than a subscription, and Nuro says updates are free for life. A free trial is offered.
The $110 question
On September 17, 2026 the Supernova product page listed $159.99 with no compare at price. Nuro also offered Supernova inside an Xrack bundle for $119.99, which is a bundle deal, not the standalone price.
RysUpAtmosphere is $49.99 to own. It is also included in RysUpSuite, $9.99 a month billed yearly, alongside every other current and future paid Rys Up plugin.

A clear ballad vocal in Atmosphere
A starting point for a slow, exposed vocal that needs size without losing the words. Adjust by ear.
- Put Atmosphere on a return and pick a smooth hall or plate type. Try a decay between 2.5 and 4 seconds.
- Sync predelay to an eighth or sixteenth note so every consonant lands dry before the tail opens.
- Add a quiet quarter note delay underneath, with low feedback, and keep it well below the reverb in the balance.
- Low cut both engines and pull the delay's high cut down so the repeats stay soft.
- Raise ducking until the space tucks under each line, then shape the curve so the tail swells smoothly between phrases.
- Use air sparingly. A bright tail on a quiet ballad gets tiring fast.
