How To Install Vocal Presets On Ableton
- If you are using Waves plugins, click here .
- Make sure you are fully upgraded to Ableton Suite or Standard. The preset won't work on Lite.
-
Unzip and move the .adg file to:
- MAC: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Music/Ableton/User Library/Presets/Audio Effects/Audio Effect Rack/
- WINDOWS: \Users\[username]\Documents\Ableton\User Library\Presets\Audio Effects\Audio Effect Rack\
- Open Ableton and create a new audio track.
- In the Browser on the left-hand side, navigate to User Library > Presets > Audio Effects > Audio Effect Rack and select the preset.
- The error "plugin audio unit V2 unavailable" is normal, so don't be alarmed. Ableton is the only DAW that doesn't have a stock pitch corrector plugin, so we added Antares Auto-Tune to the chain as it's the most common. If you don't have Auto-Tune, you can either buy it or use the free alternative MAutoPitch.
- Enjoy the sweet sound of a well-mixed vocal!
