Waves Sync Vx is a serious vocal alignment tool. It handles up to 16 tracks with four references, matches time and pitch, and offers Insert, ARA, and AudioSuite workflows. Its official product data listed $99.99 on sale against $199 MSRP on 25 September 2026. If you are searching for Waves Sync Vx alternatives, compare the actual work you do with those capabilities rather than assuming another plugin has the same routing or track count.

RysUpAlign 2.0 — a fixed-price stack editor

RysUpAlign 2.0 is $49.99 outright for universal Mac AU/VST3/AAX and Windows x64 VST3/AAX. Choose the primary guide, or use different guides for individual tracks and clips. Timing, pitch, vibrato, level, formants, and -24 to +24 semitone transpose have global, track, and clip scopes. Preserve Harmonies helps retain the musical distance of harmony parts. ARA is used only when the host binds it; otherwise play the range to capture, align, compare Original and Aligned, then bounce or render new region audio.

Track and clip controls are no longer exclusive to Sync Vx in this comparison. Its advertised four-reference/16-track structure and AudioSuite mode remain distinct from RysUpAlign's workflow. Align can optionally read edited guide audio locally from RysUpPitch 1.1.0 or newer, a separate product, then re-align on command. Do not assume either plugin's ARA mode works in a particular DAW just because that DAW says it supports ARA. A normal Logic AU still uses Bounce in Place.

VocAlign 7 Pro — more editing controls

Synchro Arts VocAlign 7 Pro costs $199. Its newly redesigned multi-track workspace captures a whole vocal stack, and its Pro tier offers pitch matching, protected areas, sync points, and formant controls. It is not a stripped-down alternative. Pick it when you want to fine-tune the alignment process and host integration with those controls.

Revoice Pro 5 — editing beyond the stack

Revoice Pro 5 is $299. It couples automatic matching with detailed pitch and vibrato editing, de-essing, formant shifting, and a double-track tool. If your job includes repairing the performance itself as well as matching doubles to a lead, its broader toolset may justify the cost.

TightStacks — timing-only value

TightStacks tightens the timing of doubles and backing vocals. Its maker showed €45 promotional lifetime pricing against €50 regular on 25 September 2026, plus a monthly plan. It offers Mac AU/VST3 and Windows VST3, with ARA or sidechain capture depending on host. It does not advertise the same pitch-matching scope as Sync Vx.

What to test before buying

Use the same lead, double, and harmony phrase in each trial. Listen to sibilants, breaths, note changes, and a deliberately late phrase at the same loudness. Decide whether the alignment strength feels musical; a tighter-looking waveform is not automatically a better chorus. Check the DAW support and current checkout price on the maker's page.
