RysUpAlign 2.0 and Waves Sync Vx both work on a familiar problem: backing vocals that do not quite match the lead in time or pitch. RysUpAlign is $49.99 with stack, track, and clip controls on Mac and Windows. Sync Vx advertises up to 16 vocal tracks, four guide references, and Insert, ARA, and AudioSuite operation. Their routing designs remain different.

Waves' four-reference design is useful in dense arrangements where different doubles should follow different guides. Its current sale puts it closer to RysUpAlign than the $199 MSRP suggests. Waves promotions move; use the live checkout price, not an old comparison article, if cost is your deciding factor.

RysUpAlign lets you choose a primary guide or different guides for individual tracks and clips. Timing, pitch, vibrato, level, formants, and -24 to +24 semitone transpose can be set at those scopes, with inherited settings unless overridden. Optional linking reads actual edited guide audio locally from RysUpPitch 1.1.0 or newer, a separate product; re-align after the guide changes. ARA is available only when the host binds it. Otherwise capture by playing the range. In a normal Logic AU, Bounce in Place prints region audio; simply installing the plugin does not rewrite source files.

Choose by the session

Choose RysUpAlign for a fixed one-time $49.99 price or Suite access, with editable stack, track, and clip controls on Mac or Windows. Sync Vx's advertised four-reference/16-track design and AudioSuite operation remain distinct; several guides and per-region controls are no longer missing categories in Align. Listen to the same section at matched levels: a shared feature list does not prove equivalent handling of breaths, consonants, or harmony notes.
