Use this guide when your vocal preset download includes a .rysrack file. You will download the preset from your email, install the plugins with RysUpHub, open RysUpRack in your DAW, then drop the preset file into the rack.
Plugin preset walkthrough
The RysUpAudio plugin version works in any major DAW that can open RysUpRack. The email gives you the preset file, while RysUpHub installs the plugins that make the rack sound correct.
After checkout, Rys Up Audio sends your vocal preset download link by email. Open that email and download the zip file to your computer. If it is not in your inbox, check spam, promotions, or your account orders.
Open account ordersOpen the downloaded zip file and keep the extracted folder somewhere easy to find, like Downloads or Desktop. The RysUpAudio plugin version uses a .rysrack file, which is the preset file you will drag into RysUpRack.
RysUpHub is the desktop app that installs and licenses your Rys Up Audio plugins. Download the Mac or Windows version, run the installer, then open the app once installation finishes.
Download RysUpHubUse the same email address you used when buying the preset. This lets the Hub unlock your available plugins and show the installers connected to your account.
Install RysUpRack first, then install the Rys Up plugins used by your preset chain. If you bought a bundle or suite, the Hub will show the plugins available in your library.
View vocal pluginsAfter installing plugins, fully quit and reopen your DAW so it can scan the new AU, VST3, or supported plugin format. On first launch, some DAWs may take a moment to rescan plugins.
Create or select your main vocal audio track, open the insert/plugin menu, then load RysUpRack. Put it on the vocal track itself, not the master channel.
Go back to the extracted preset folder, find the .rysrack preset file, and drag it directly into the RysUpRack plugin window. The full vocal chain and macro controls load into the rack.
Start playback, check your input level, then adjust the macro knobs for low cut, air, compression, tuning speed, chorus, delay, and reverb until the preset fits your voice and beat.
Install RysUpRack first. Then install every Rys Up plugin shown in your purchase or preset folder. If you own RysUpSuite, the Hub will show the full plugin library available from the same login.
Put RysUpRack on the main vocal audio track, not on the master channel. Record or import your vocal, open the RysUpRack window, and drop the .rysrack file onto the rack.
Restart your DAW after installing plugins, make sure the Hub shows the plugins as installed, then try loading RysUpRack again. For direct help, open the support page.
